When a crimelord from the year 3000 finds that times are too tough, he goes back in time to 2001. And the Power Rangers of year 3000 come back to battle him. Things only get crazier when the bad guy masters time travel, allowing him to pop up wherever he wants in the timestream.
Ed, Edd n Eddy is an original animated television series created by Danny Antonucci and produced by Canadian-based a.k.a. Cartoon. It premiered on Cartoon Network in 1998. Ed, Edd n Eddy is one of Cartoon Network’s longest running and most successful franchises and the longest-running of the channel’s original Cartoon Cartoons. The series revolves around three adolescent boys collectively known as “the Eds,” who hang around in a suburban cul-de-sac. Clarence is an upcoming American animated television series created by Skyler Page for Cartoon Network. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and storyboard revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed the series at Cartoon Network Studios in 2012 as part of their animated short development initiative. The series revolves around a young boy named Clarence, who is optimistic about everything. The network has commissioned twelve 15-minute episodes; in the United States, the series is rated TV-PG.
Completing its first full year as an individually rated network, the late-night service announced the new slate of programming on deck for 2006 at today’s Adult Swim Upfront event in New York. New series for the year are Death Clock Metalocalypse, Frisky Dingo, Assy McGee, Saul of the Mole Men and Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil. Two pilots were announced and will air later this year: Korgoth of Barbaria and That Crook’d ‘Sip. New seasons of current series Robot Chicken; Family Guy; Tom Goes to the Mayor; Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law; The Venture Bros.; Aqua Teen Hunger Force; 12oz. Mouse and Squidbillies will also air throughout the year. Adult Swim completed the first quarter of 2006 as the top-rated basic cable network among men 18-24 and men 18-34.

A group of leaders from Protestant churches in Russia has asked the country’s attorney general to ban television broadcasts of the anime series Ikki Tousen and to cancel the channel’s broadcast license. The Consulting Council of Heads of Russia’s Protestant Churches also included the American animated television series South Park and Sealab 2021, as well as up to ten other series, in the complaint. Ikki Tousen was noted specifically for “glorifying cruelty and containing elements of child pornography.” Ikki Tousen airs on Russia’s 2×2 channel under the title Shkol’nye Voyny (School Wars). The other programs were similarly criticized for promoting homosexuality and drug and alcohol use, and contributing to the destruction of public norms and values.
